We need a place to submit dyp results!!

Give a few people a login to post results from the different regions. E-mailing results to get posted just isn't a good system.

I would like each area with a league to have its own forum for events going on in that city. Then I could setup email notification for the Milwaukee Foosball forum and easily know when people will be out on the town for a given night, or if there is some league message on the boards I need to be aware of. I'm always sad when I check the website later to find out I missed something. This would also make it easier for me to find out what's going on in other locations if I was going to be in that area.

The downside to this approach would be notifying other WIfoosers about tournaments they might want to play in. That would require cross posting in different forums which is kind of annoying (or people setting up email notification for all the forums, which kinda defeats what I'm going for here).

Does phpBB support tagging of posts? Then we could have the individual forums and tournament organizers could tag their posts with 'tournament' or 'draw' and you could setup notification for tags.

I dunno, just rambling here and killing time before the weekend. All I know for sure is that I would like the website to notify when something new gets posted related to the Milwaukee foos scene. Thanks.

I'll do some R&D on what MODS I can install on this board to help with this idea...

I like the idea of separate sub-forums for individual cities, if we could get it so you could subscribe to these sub-forums (like you stated) that'd be pretty cool.

Basically you'd "subscribe" to the Milwaukee forum, so that way whenever someone posts something new (either a topic or a reply) it would email you.

To top that off is this "tagging" idea, which I'll research as well.
