In the 5-bar game, if you attempt to pass from your 5 to the 3 bar and the ball goes past your 3 bar, is the ball dead? If not, does that mean your opponent can use their 2/3 bar to do something to the ball, and could you also attempt a pass with your 5 off the back wall to your 3? When does play stop? If my opponent is serving and I end up making the pass and scoring, who gets the next serve? |

The ball is dead if it goes past your offensive 3-rod. In other words you may not count a pass that goes off the back wall or otherwise enters a defensive zone. This is a poor passing strategy for a primary pass. The last person who did not complete a pass gets to drop the ball, regardless of who dropped the ball last. Play stops when it leaves the offensive zone, (beween the two offensive three rods), or when the ball stops between men. Hope this helps Oldman |

also... If I'm about to pass and fumble the ball backwards to my opponents three-bar, is that a point for them? |

Yes, play the game as if it were a real game of foos but as if the table ended at the beginning edge of the defensive zones. If the ball ends up on your offensive three rod, (less any already mentioned exceptions), then it is a point. This also means that if you can block a pass and catch it with your offensive 3-rod then it is a point. oldman |

Can I do an eclipse from my five rod to my three? Also, if Dan Jars the hell out of me can I reach across the table and bitch slap him? or would a stern "Knock it the F*#$ off you Sh*# eatin' F*@# bag" be enough? |

If you are talking about Dan S. YES all of the above are "very" legal and OK. Later, Cory. |
