Sounds good to me. With only 7 teams paying to fourth makes less sense.

I want to make sure that everyone else, in general, is okay without the trophies. Post if you rather have a trophy than the cash.

I for one that would like my end of year refund of $5.67.

I believe Plato said he would as well.

Feel free to stop by my house and collect your $$$. Please give at least 6 weeks advanced notice so that I can ensure that my schedule is open. Oh, and Plato owes me $5.68 for the lessons I've been giving him lately.

For how I've been playing lately, paying you $5.68 for lessons seems about right.

What is the deal on start time again? It starts at 7:00pm? What happens if it is 7:00pm and not all your teammates are there and/or not all your opponents are there? What if 2 people are there from one team, can you play all the configurations that those 2 people can play first until the 3rd shows up? Does Sean sub in during this time or is Sean (or some other sub) only able to sub in for the entire night? I'd love to get this laid out so I know #1 how late I can be before I get my team in trouble and exactly what kind of trouble that is and #2 at what time can I start whining about opponents that aren't there yet on those nights when I actually do show up on time?

Just show up on time to be respectful of both your teammates and the other team.

The rules set are a somewhat arbitrary set of guidelines to help those who are not motivated naturally to be respectful of others.

If respect does not work, the rule is...
Games start by 7:30 unless both teams agree it is to start later.
Every 5 minutes after 7:30 the short team forfeits a game.
Once I sub I'm in for the night, no take-backs.
Negotiate the rest, but the rules above are the rules and can be used if desired.

Ultimately, it is to be enforced by the teams playing, same as too much time on the 5-rod or three walls or spinning etc. So if you want to call it feel free, and if you don't then don't. I will support you if you do and enter the forfeited games as 5 to 0.

In the current format we have a #1 player, #2, and #3 and, as I understand it, we play in the order as designated on the league sheet. If we have a sub, does the sub play where his handicap would put him or does he play in the position where the person he is subbing for should be?

hey Mike,

Our league runs straight through to the end of march, but it is an alternating week league.

Every other Tuesday we have league and on the alternate Tuesday we have a handicapped draw. This Tuesday we will be having a DYP.

It technically starts at 7pm, but we don't really get started until about 7:30 or so. We have 3 brand spankin' new tables and the draw is handicapped.

The bar is called Fanatics and there is some top notch competition there to hone your skills. Directions etc. for fanatics can be found on the home page of the web site under "places to play".
