Are we ever going to see the results from the Spring league? Are we still missing sheets? Money? What is the status of this?

Alright here is the deal. There are several and I mean several missing match sheets. So determining the winner of anything is next to impossible at this point. There seems to be little ambition to get the matches made up and I really dont have time to prod people into getting them made up. I suppose we could just look at the ones we have and determine a winner based on that.

As far as the money goes. There are still some people who have not yet paid in. I cant really dole out the winners money without all of it.

So here we are. Here are the options as I see it. I'd like to get some input on what people want to do.

1) I will refund everyones money who paid in and keep the money that Sean had given me from last year to pay for the parts that I bought (which would cover only about 60% of the cost) Everyones a winner

2) We collect the rest of the money and figure out a winner based on the sheets I have

3) We collect the rest of the money and everyone makes up their games and we figure out a winner.

The bottom line is that I can't call everyone and keep asking for money and sheets. So let the debate begin I am willing to figure out the money, and the winners based on the sheets but I won't spend weeks asking for money and telling people to make up matches.

i say we just do a refund. it's not fair to give out money to league winners if they haven't even payed to get in!

getting all the matches made up just isn't gonna happen.


But, we learned things for next year. The most important being... pay before you can even play. Maybe next year the wifoos site will have some electronic way to submit results, and perhaps even tabulate stats automatically.

Even though we aren't gonna get payouts or jackets or trophies this year, I still want to thank Eric W. for running the league this year. Without his efforts, this just would not have happened at all. Kudos man. Maybe someone will be motivated and run it next year to give you a year off.
