Alright boys and girls, we're shaking things up a tad this year. We've had meetings and spoken to a variety of players, so the following changes have been made to try to provide the very best, competitive league that we can.
First off, here is our league roster. The team captains are bolded:

League Changes/Information
1.) One league, running from 9/29/11 - 2/23/11 (end date pending) - 21 weeks. This means everyone plays each other 3 times.
2.) You will play one team per night, officially called a "match"
3.) Each "match" will consist of 3 "sets"
3a.) Set 1: 2/3 Doubles
3b.) Set 2: 2/3 Team Captain vs Team Captain singles
3c.) Set 3: 2/3 Remaining Player vs Remaining Player singles
4.) All team captains have already been chosen based on ranking, past league experience, or preference of the team.
5.) Each match will be designated to a table, either 1, 2 or 3. No arguments, you will play your match on that particular table. Since each team will be play eachother 3 times over the course of the league, you will play each team on each table
6.) All "sets" are 2/3 to 5 points, no more 7 point "sets".
Handicap System
After two weeks we will be implementing a handicap system, but it will be different this year. Each team that has a handicap will treat that handicap as an "allowance", meaning they can use those points in any "set" that they wish, up to a maximum of 3 per set. Confusing... I know. Here's an example...
Charlie/Aaron are in first place ( 0 points )
Bryan/Brandon are in last place ( 4 points )
Scenario A: Bryan/Brandon can use 3 of their 4 points for one singles "set", and their remaining 1 point for their last singles "set". Those points will be assigned per game, so in essence:
Set 1 - Doubles
For games 1-3 Bryan/Brandon have to play to 5 points, just like their opponent.
Set 2 - Captain Singles
For games 1-3 Bryan has to play to 2 points (starting at 3), while Charlie has to play to 5.
Set 3 - Other Player Singles
For games 1-3 Brandon has to play to 4 points (starting at 1), while Aaron has to play to 5.
Start Time
Since there are only 3 matches per night, and we have 3 tables, league will kick-off at 7:30pm each week. If you plan on being late, please contact a League Administrator, or The Bar, and let someone know.

Weekly Clinics
Each week, starting at 7pm, one table will house a weekly clinic to teach foosers, and friends of foosers, about various skill sets. Some topics include: 5 bar passing (brush, stick), 3 bar shooting (pull, snake), 2 bar shooting (pull, push, kicks), 2 bar passing, trick shots.
If you are there around 7pm please try to keep at least one table open for such clinics
League Payment
We are playing 21 weeks @ 5 dollars per person a week. That comes to $105 dollars total. Personally I'm going to ask each person to pay at least half down prior to Week 3.
The remaining sum will be asked for by Week 12. I know it's hard to come up with $105 right off the bat for some, but it's really tough collecting money each night.
If a full team has not paid at least half down by Week 3, they will begin forfeiting their matches until doing so.
In Closing
I really feel this league will be the best one to hit Green Bay in along time. We've listened to a lot of feedback over the off season, as well as talked with league organizers from various regions of Wisconsin.
