People do you all have short memory? This is not the first time it's been canceled. I donÔÇÖt care what the reason is I didn't plan on going because I had a better choice it was IL State. Cheap entry fees new tables good lighting, guarantied payouts, tuff competition and lots of room to play. I only saw two other players from WI there nick and his partner, how sad. If WI players ever want to get better get off your ass go to tourneys that are not that far away and stop waiting for a tournament to appear in your back yard with bad promotions. With that being said are state tournament is doing great why change the way we are doing things that are working. |

First off, Dan, if you are going to post something, please have facts. The facts are: I have never scheduled a Halloween Open tournament and canceled! If you have never ran a tournament and really know how much THANKLESS work goes into it, you have no right to put down anyone who has. I have always had NEW TABLES WITH LIGHTS. I have ALWAYS PAID OUT, even when it came out of my own pocket! I always did my best to run a tight ship and have everyone out Sunday at a reasonable time. (didn't always happen, but we did our best) Dan if you have a problem with me, please don't write BS crap on the internet and hide behind your computer! That being said, I am very sorry to anyone had plans to come this year and once again support HO. I hope to see you all in Kaukana. |

Corey, Thanks for giving it a try. I, like Bert, loved going to this tourney. I'm definitely a little sad it isn't going down, some of my favorite foos memories have come from that tourney over the years. Anyhow, thanks for the try again and hopefully it's just a temporary setback and someday it will return. Oldman |
