Once again Ill make my case for May. 3 years ago when we decided to have state in May it opened the doors to having the March and April One-Day tournaments stay in those months, when weather is better for travel, and foos in WI isnt over saturated. We've discussed time and time again that cramming a bunch of tourneys together only hurts the attendance for the smaller events. I may be alone in this now, for whatever reason, but I feel dedicating the entire month of May to state only pushes for a great turnout. If April is chosen, I only hope we can push it towards the end, so we dont repeat the struggles of this year. |

I'll make the valid argument for keeping it in early April. After Fishing season opens first Saturday of May many people have pioriyies other than Foosball. Also the weather is generally nicer this time of the year and people don't want to spend the entire day sitting in a bar. I beleive when we did have state in May half the players left to go golfing on Sunday. Which also happened this year due to the nice weather we had. So Brett like you didn't go to Chad's DYP's because it was Packer season and you have your "priorities" May is starting to get into summer and other people have their priorities. Just my $.02. |

I will have to vote for April. As posted earlier by mybiggestfan, fishing season opens and I start to take care of outdoor projects both at home and at the cottage. I do, however, encourage everyone that reads this message board to vote. We should do what works best for the majority. Thanks for posting the poll. Rich P |
